Surprised nobody posted this yet...
Brits are crazy, this is a scientifical fact.

So, the girl at the reception of the BBC building took a cool initiative: she sent that cab driver, who was looking
for a job, straight to a live show about IT as an IT expert.

Well I thought he handled it pretty well, apparently when he asked about the interview afterwards he said he thought it went ok, but he wasn't given enough time to answer the questions! LOL quality!

indeed he did quite well. He kept the show going, the form was not top notch but that's normal for someone not used to a Q&A ping pong. It could had happen to the IT expert they expected. Whatever, the content of his answers was relevant.

But ... how ?! how did he ended up on stage ?

Would be nice if they actually hire that guy and send him on live shows as a anything-expert without letting him know what he'll have to talk about. You need a global warming expert : no problem. A internationnal terrorist network specialist : here he comes. A fishing regulation analyst : who'd you gonna call ? him! him! him!

/me might need some black pills.

Would be great indeed, à la "Catch me if you can". It could be the name of the show, even..
I think he landed there because of a real receptionists mistake: he was there for a real job interview and was led to the stage I *love* blonde receptionists in moments like this.

What happened was he wasn't a cab driver as orginally reported. He was there for a job interview in IT (as a data cleanser). So he was waiting for someone and had the same first name "Guy" as the man who was supposed to be on. Orginally he thought it was some strange part of the interview process.
