Too bad.

Does it strike anyone else as odd that the sign says "young females" and not "young women"? We might not even be talking about human beings here. This could be an asylum for training female chimpanzees for all we know.

That did, in fact, strike me as well Suho.

Presumably such a place would be more of a work farm than an asylum, taking in the orphans, criminals, racial minorities, girls who have been sold/given up by their families, etc.

The type of people who not all that long ago wouldn't warrant such 'human' terms as youg women or young ladies.

Bit - any info on where/when/what this place was?

It strikes me as being made in Photoshop. The text seems a tad clear and uniformly-opaque from the state of the wall.

Good point, DL.

As for the image being a PS job, well, I generally don't suspect PSing unless the image is suspicious and there seems to be a good reason for suspecting PSing. You know, Occam's razor and all. Not saying that it's not a possibility, but... why?
