Ok I wanted to ask a few flash people their advice before I dive full on into this project. What I'd like to do is create a site that would be like looking at a wall and when the user clicks on say "music" the wall scrolls to a different section revealing the "music" section of the wall. Problem I'm foreseeing is that in order for it to be seamless would i have to create a transition from every secion on the wall to each new section or is there a way that I could assign a variable for each secion (ie. music x=40 y=40, home x=0, y=0) then the tweens from each one wouldnt matter.

Sorry I hope i explain that correctly. Im doing the first set for example sake. http://www.dirtydoggs.com/ddflash.swf

thanks!

awwww, i thought i'd get at least one or two suggestions. Well anyways I just created a default transition instead of making one for each section.

DG and Cal do this on http://pixelflo.com/ they are using JavaScript to handle the transitions but if you look at their code you will see how it is done.

Your current solution looks pretty good. I am not sure I am digging the background image as it is pretty busy, maybe something a little less busy would make it easier on the eyes, but I like how you have the circular motion.

wow i wish i were advanced enough to even understand the java scripting there.
thats pretty much what i was looking for. I agree on the background being busy. they wanted a grungy look so we shot a dumpster in an alley in LA and i had a world of a time just making it 2-3 colors....

thanks for the info though!
