Hmmm. I mean, Superman. Or? Both actually.
Marlon Brando will be the first digital actor in movies history.

More seriously though, this was done to Brandon Lee, who died while filing the Crow.

Interesting all the same...

Odd. I am unable to take a stand, pro or con... to me it just says
"the future will be full of virtual actors in virtual scenes", but I can't label this as good or bad.

It just is happening, wether Mr. Brando is the first or not.

Geez.

(on future use of CGI in his films) "Nooo! Leave that to George Lucas, he' s really mastered the CGI acting. That scares me! I hate it! Everybody is so pleased and excited by it. Animation is animation. Animation is great. But it's when you're now taking what should be films full of people, living thinking, breathing, flawed creatures and you're controlling every moment of that, it's just death to me. It's death to cinema, I can't watch those Star Wars films, they're dead things."

Mmm, so far I don't think I've seen the CGI that I can't tell is CGI, which makes it not as good as paying twice as much to do special effects the oldskool, mundane way.

I can "feel" you, and yet I still am amazed at the fact things like this are possible,
and likely to become the future.

Geez again.

What can I say? In addition, my main programming skill and interest are effects... I am torn.
