I'm looking for a resource to assist me in choosing complimentary colors for the old text/background pairing. I've found numerous color wheels online but it feels to me like there's more out there, something that would help me determine what'll really "pop" for a user and what will just come off as bland or, worse, loud. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's certainly worth reading about color psychology / symbolism.
