Topic: firefox login issue

i am having problems using firefox... every time i try to make a post, it says my username and password dont match, however, if i go back to the main page, the register link changes to profile like i am logged in. i have tried clearing cookies, cache, and temp files to no avail.

fyi, i am using firefox 1.5.0.6 with windows xp home w/ sp2

is this a issue that is known, or is it my computer causing it somehow?

Never heard of it.
Have you changed your password recently?
Have you tried telling the Asylum to forget you? ( Ok, clearing your cookies should have done it ).
What's in the value (see source) of the password box?

Do you by any chance let Firefox update itself via its built-in updater?

IMO that thing has never worked well. Whenever I upgrade Firefox, I uninstall it, backup my bookmarks, remove my profile directory and install directories, then reinstall. Everything is peachy when I do this; when I do not, things invariably go awry.

Odd. I've never had problems with the built-in update. Not yet at least.

And I have never had such problems with FF, as well (including the update function)

Friend are you sure you are giving right user name and password. friend its some time happen due to session because as you now Firefox create a session for all the user so try it with disconnecting and closing Firefox . and enter your user name and password again..
