(and I believe that's a husky or a similar domesticated animale, not an actual wolf. Am I right?)

Actually, I was looking through all the pictures on the site, and I believe that at least a couple of them were of the Timber Wolf. Not easy to mistake one of them for a husky. :P

And I disagree - I believe dogs domesticated us, and continue to battle for domination of the human race with cats, who have far less pleasant plans for our enslavement... um, hang on... they did this in a kids' movie, didn't they? Damn it...

Well... ain't no definite answer without a proper determination book for wolfs and their descendands, and probably at least xraying or cutting up the subject...

I'm looking at http://www.exzooberance.com/virtual%20zoo/they%20walk/wolf/Timber%20Wolf%2042076.jpg ( whatever Google turned up for Timber Wolf) and to my (untrained regarding bigger mamals) eye they ears look different, and her eyes are definatly more slanted than the wolfs.

But who knows?

Canis Lupus - Timber Wolf aka Grey Wolf or Gray Wolf.

She is 100% Timber Wolf - I have a few coyote photos on my site but none of dogs (huskies or otherwise).

TP: I was surprised by your photo - i don't see any marked differences from the timberwolves i photograph and the one in that reference photo. You are correct about the ears and eyes...these vary from individual to individual but also from their pose: alert, at rest, angry etc.
