A warning: If the thought of tens of millions of tiny spiders spinning a web 24 hectares - 60 acres - in size and crawling all over it scares the wits out of you, you might want to tread carefully over the following.

Our neighbours have sold and are moving to that very area in a matter of weeks. Can't wait to give them something to dream about! =)

Hehee - I've always loved spiders.

I've seen that article before, but the tarantula article lower down the page was well worth reading. I want a Goliath as a pet... that is, if I can't have a Galeodes Arabs (the solifugid inaccurately referred to as a Camel Spider).

I suppose, if they proved to be poor pets, they're sizeable enough to fill a sandwich so all would not be lost.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzz.....

The black widows in the grapes is interesting. My wife and I found a black widow in some grapes we bought from the grocery store about 3 years ago now. I never heard any explanation for it until that article.

And tarantulas are cool
Back home, we used to get to see dozens at a time (sometimes hundreds in a month) migrating across the farm in the summer.

I think spiders are lovely.
Is it strange to have such kind of impression on spiders?
I do not know, i just like it.
