I deleted a CMS after having uninstalled the add-on components. I could not delete a parent folder that had been created by one of the component scripts through FTP...same problem going thru the Plesk File Manager...so I loaded whatdir.php and a cleanup script...still can't delete the sucker. Here's the scary part. My Hosting server has online chat support...I logon with the name "Me" and the email addy "Me@home.com"....the guy does not have a clue who I am....i give him my domain and the folder i want to delete....he says "are you sure" and I say "You bet"....and he says "done" and I check my FTP client and I see the sucker is gone. so to make a long story short, i got a tech support to delete a folder off a domain without him knowing who the hell i was....all he could conclude was that they hosted that domain and that the permissions on that folder had been modified by a script (there were images in the folder, it wasn't empty)...pretty scary shit. ~ Luxury is the wolf at the door and its fangs are the vanities and conceits germinated by success.
