Hello there,

Have a weird problem in PS and am hoping someone can shed some insight?

I have a number of items that have been hand-pathed (pen tool). For some reason, when I go to activate the paths, not all of the path is selecting. The selection tool is activating the outside path but not the inner. Any ideas on this? We are even having problems when we import the items in to indesign ? the inner path is dropping out. This is such a headache any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time.

in the paths pallette, are the two sections in one path entry(layer), or multiple? If multiple, you will need to combine them (copy and paste will do the trick).

It is only one main path.

When you have the outer path selected, can you select or unselect individual nodes in it or any of the inner paths?

If I remember correctly you do that by holding the Control Key (I think that's Command on a Mac) and then click on the individual nodes to see if they will select and unselect.

Was the entire path created at the same time ?
If not it may contain a path and a sub-path.

just thinking out loud, here...

I haven't been using photoshop as often lately, so my thinking is a little dim. Can you post the PSD?
