OK, here's the scoop... I've done the easy bit, now I need some pro help with the hard bit (hard for me me)

Top is the original image and you'll see under that I've cleaned it up a fair bit. Now I need to get rid of the green cast in the bottom left hand corner. I've buggered around with layers and masks 'til my eyes hurt but can't seem to get it done... I'm certain that it's simple, and even reckon I've done it before, but today... nada

This is what I got:

PSD (3.76MB)

You might be able to fix it up a bit more by looking at the PSD.

Thanks zava... yes I can work with that

I was sorta making a gradient mask before; I could make it , but I'm damned if I could work out how to actually apply it! As you can see... masks is a grey, or should I say pink, area for me

Muchas gracias!

Should be an easy fix with a hue/saturation layer, even without masking (or with minimal, crude maksing).

Well... I sorta learned a bit from the exercise, thanks peoples

A large part of the a lot of the green caste problem solved itself because I always intended to put the original image in one corner of the end result... no prize for guessing which corner!

DL, i've spent nearly every free waking hour for the last two days mucking around with this... particularly with your suggestion but I never perfected a way to apply a "graded effect" (?poor description) on the green caste. The problems I had centered around green being the opposite to magenta, so I sorta fixed one bit and buggered another

Do you know of any tutes I can go to... I looked high and low but don't really know how to describe what I'm looking for... overall castes I'm right for now, thanks to your and zava's prompts... maybe, no I am, making hard work of a seemingly simple adjustment

I don't want someone to do it for me, the posted image has been printed and sent... everyone's happy at that end... but not me... it's a mishmash and I wanna get it better for next time!
