I know there are a few NIN fans on here.

Any opinions of the new album?

Or all the controversy that Trent is creating?

the whole stuff about the numerous year zero websites was/is brilliant. haven't listened to the new album yet, but the 3 songs that leaked a few weeks ago sounded very promising. cant wait for the official release...will buy this one for sure

I like his stuff well enough, just not a ginormous amount. I'm largely uneducated and have yet not bothered to learn enough or listen enough on a conscious level (I have a few of his albums that I listen to unconsciously though)

Wow. NIN is still around? I used to listen to Mr. Reznor whenever I felt particularly depressed back in university. His uplifting melodies and light-hearted lyrics always made me feel better about life and my place in the world. I kind of outgrew his music after I graduated because, well, I guess it just wasn't violently dark enough for me, you know?

I gave up listening to him when his 3rd album of still whining about the same stuff came out...
