Hi Everyone,

I don't know where to put this since Dreamweaver is my favorite CSS editor (and html).

I'm getting random crashes in VISTA. I've got VISTA Ultimate OEM...

Any ideas? Are there any logs I can look at?

Bearing in mind that I had a 100% rock solid XP installation, so I'm hesitant to think it's hardware.

I would start by checking out what the dreamweaver people have to say about it.
Anytime a piece of software has prblems caused by specific changes you've made, chances are it is documented...

Any particular reason why you switched to 'Vista'?

Hvae you tried the new version of Dreamweaver that comes with CS3 yet? You can at least download a 30 trial edition, that should work perfectly well with Vista.

I found something on Adobe's site:

Some Dreamweaver 8 users running on Windows Vista are reporting that Dreamweaver crashes while performing actions that involve browsing for files.
Reason: The main cause of this problem appears to be a conflict between Dreamweaver 8 and the Groove component of Microsoft Office 2007 on Windows Vista.

It seems like I have to get rid of some Office components, what's Groove for?

Cheers.

I'd get rid of Office 2007 for starters. I have a lot of clients that have had nothing but trouble with it. Try OpenOffice.
