I ran across that a little over a year ago and got in on the beta testing. I think it's a great concept, but I wasn't all that impressed with it really. It would probably be great for a number of projects, just nothing I've been working on over the last year. Regardless, I hope it keeps evolving since I'm sure I'll have projects come up over time that I'll be able to put it to use for. Until then, Google still does me good

There are quite a few such search engines, www.koders.com and www.google.com/code spring to my mind.

If you want to do something like this for your own codebase in-house, consider open grok
which has been a great help to me.
