I've lost the link that pointed me to this site but one of the comments there and the first thing that ran through my little brain was that 10 years or so ago... this technology would have cost you millions.

But a nagging question lingers, at least for me, and that is; I wonder if it has staying power or will it become a sort of virtual Mr. Potato Head...which is what it reminds me of in the first place. Regardless, it looks to be fun and I will take it for a spin.

Oh.... and another question. Would I be correct in thinking one could broadcast their creation here? Go to "Learn more" It seems pretty straight forward.

Well it wouldn't run on my old and slow system. Too bad.

That looks like fun, but I understand what you mean. Perhaps though, its shelf-life isn't as important as an exemplary application of such a technology.

As soon as I saw it, it made me think of all the hype about 'Virtual Reality'.

The implementation of this sort of technology would allow a pretty amazing level of personal interactivity to a fully simulated environment, wouldn't it? Just imagine if your World of Warcraft* avatar's expressions and gestures aped your own, directly.

Wow. Give me a console with stereoscopic goggles, motion and gesture interpretation, expression analysis and replication, and a drip feed...

...I could be a virtual super hero!

*Never played that, by the way.
