In this thieving city of mine I've had a car a motorbike and two mountain bikes stolen in my time. For a while these were my mode of transport. A few weeks ago I got myself a beautiful new machine, black, sleek, light and soooo sexy. I'm planning a couple of mini holidays soon just so I can take her for a good spin.
I'm so nosey I'd like to see what your driving these days. Polish up the paint work and let's see your modus of transport

I drive my mom's Honda Odyssey (I want to say a '98 but I'm really not sure.) for motor transport. I can't afford a vehicle of my own at this point in time.

When I feel to work out my legs, I take my bike* on a old railroad which was converted to a bike path. I rarely bike to get somewhere.

* The back end of the Odyssey can be seen in the first picture. Bike features: Disc brakes, trigger shift, quick release wheels, aluminum alloy rims, and front suspension. I bought the bike for about $380 USD in June. (My old bike was rusted and kept having problems, so I took a deep breath and got this new bike.)

I walk, take the bus/tram or subway. I take cabs in the whee (sp?) hours. When I was in France, I commuted 2-2.5h in train, subway and walking each day for 5years. Enough for me to decide to spend more in a rent and have a better quality of life by living closer to work ( 3km is the furthest I'm ready to live now )

Ooo that "Inferno Red" Chrysler Crossfire does look rather tasty briggl.
Nice bike zavaboy we have the same gearset too. I was going to get a bike with disk brakes but the weight and the cost of the bike was prohibitive.
I've just noticed my first post is really messed up and it's too late to edit now. I'll come back with better photos of the bike and some details too (I'm not going to tempt fate to say why that may be useful at a later date).
Poi I understand what you are saying about living closer to work for travel reasons. I love trams, you don't have any photos of them do you by any chance? here in the Pool of Life we had a tram system that lasted through both wars but for some incomprehensible reason the politicians got rid of it in the 1950's. There has been talk of a "new" transport system which would include trams but it's just talk atm.
These were my other mode of getting about that I messed up posting before.

I use a mountain bike, or our family van, a Toyota Sienna. Great van!

I have an old Honda that is only barely roadworthy anymore. Because of that, and because I really would rather ride a bike, that's just what I plan on doing more often for commuting. At the moment I have a relatively unspecial mountain bike that was bought for me a while ago, even before I was into bicycling. Will get some pictures later. I don't ever plan on getting another car, it's just not a feasible option.

Here's my car with a doughnut I had to put on it after coming out of work and seeing it had a flat.

Here it is a few minutes later after the doughnut went flat.

...and the next day, original tire patched

Tao: I like the SU partially covered on the tank - it looks like SW

As for the Enzo, I have the same reaction as you..but again that car is worth 1 or 2 million dollars...so if it did get scratched somehow I think the owner would be able to do something to comfort himself...something more than just buying a gallon of Hagen Daz. Interestingly the car had plates from Alberta, Canada - petrodollars.

I'm in London in a few weeks....doubt I'll get out to liverpool though! doubt i'll get out of the office period
