Well I guess this is just one more reason to try a different OS

They have no respect for customers. They have lost that a decade ago. And I mean : Bill Gates based his first "breakthroughs"
on spying Apple concepts, and admitted to it.

This echoes a huge flaw of our God consumerism : if you can convince, you can sell, if you can sell, more power to you.

But that particular Redmond guy did hesitate on no lie and misdemeanour to sell more, it is a CORE value of Microsoft commercial practices,
so no surprise there. Somebody has to end this. That somebody is US : hail apple for eventhough they have questionable practices as well,
they pay RESPECT to ideas, science, and the reality of their customers.

OMFSM? Hmmm... there are other things that bother me A LOT in their software. Not only me.

1) The multithreading model of Windows was a pitty for years.
2) They went as far as including NOOPS in their code to bribe for costy upgrades, upgrades of licenses... this is the case for MSDE for example, and I can demonstrate it.

And much more.
Our computers SO DETERMINE our daily life, communication, access to information. priorities in this fast paced first world.
The redmond guy looks too sharkey for me to hand shares of my life to him.

OMFSM = Oh My Flying Spaghetti Monster.

FWIW I really don't like the idea of MicroSoft installing things on my computer without my conscent, let alone against it as I expressed it by dissabling Windows Update.

OMFSM!!

Seriously, I wonder if XP Anti-Spy blocks this?

I will have to check when I get home.

Thanks for posting this.
