Anyone know a reputable site to do low volume business cards (500-1000).

I had found a site called vista print which allows you to do a full bleed photo and upload within a psd template.
Just before hitting the submit button, I opened another FF Tab and googled them - there were a good dozen or so links with testimonials saying they vistaprint were scammers and con artists. so i canceled.

Have not be able to find any other sites allowing full customization

anyone know anything online, or do i need to go to a printer? i hate doing things offline!

Before I spent $100 or so on something that was useless I would go to a printer and make them give me a proof before printing.

Interesting. I've used vistaprint several times and never had any issues. Was about to order more from them in the next month or two. I think I'll go elsewhere after reading those reviews and scam reports.

poi: thanks, it looks interesting.

Blaise: I had already found moo - but they only seem to have mini-cards..did i miss something?

Nathus: It's pretty scary stuff.

C: I might try the printer route also.

That's right they only do mini=cards, but that's all relative really, you can put as much detail on them as you'd like, why must a business card end up dog-eared and over-bearing in my wallet?

I use 48hourprint.com. Pretty fast and good quality full color cards (full bleed) with aqueous coating. Their upload system is cool too. Prices are great! Good luck...

Blaise: Thanks - the prob with mini-cards is that I have a photo in mind for the background, and i need to maintain its aspect ratio at full bleed.

Thumper: thanks, will take a look.
