Some gem that fits everywhere and nowhere yet, so..

Think "Microsoft surface" or "Ipod touch", it all means new ways of interacting with information.
The above link is a comprehensive directory of known, and less knows ways to interact.

Okay, righto.

Makes for a good "overview of past and present interface design concepts", but with my newly "freed" Ipod Touch (screw warranties,
gimme the fun factor instead) - I am very curious about what user interfaces will look like a couple of years from now.

The most striking example is that "roll the ball over the board to the final hole" kind of application - I get to wave my Ipod
in order to control the ball movements, and it's very realistic :
Video sample of Iphone Labyrinth here

We have a couple of great widget/navigation libraries here, Doc O was packing his as "znippets" at some point : I remember Trib and Bugimus doing the same -
and indeed, the bug lib still exists at www.bugimus.com

What about coming up with some newer ways to make users interact?

...

If you've seen anything stunning or new in that field, please dig up the links - video, direct link, anything goes!
