It's funny.
Hell, it's spooky even : I am not sure why, but I am still applying meta header principles recommended by Emperor
back then, so I should have metas similar to the ones here.

And..

How long ago did I post my business card around for review? If you're seeing the same thing I do,
link number 2 is my new page, and link 6 is some java code I posted here back then.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=mauro+colella

Anybody has an idea how they rank stuff these days? The Asylum will pop up in many different searches
about webdesign related topics.

I don't have other good examples handy (well, one : http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=ozones more popular than the famous gas)
But I find it weird.

I don't find it useful to promote my services directly through google, but it's great, when I send my resume,
to know that the google search will immediately show some of my work.

No idea how to use this, but I'd love to understand how the thingie works nowadays.

It's all about links, and any active forum generates a lot of links; to, from, within.

Hmmm... that was the theory. Now look at the facts :

6th result for query "Mauro Colella" : http://www.ozoneasylum.com/28405

...Where do you see a link with my last name inside? I only see a comment in a code chunk inside a post.
I don't think it's about links only - not at all. Just don't know the recipe.

putting your name in with quotes, that link came up 4th for me, 6th without.

Google somewhat explains their theory.

haven't read all of it, but this guy seems to have went to great lengths to explain it.

Later,
