http://dev.jquery.com/~john/processing.js/

Some of you might already know about http://www.processing.org/ a simple Java API for graphics. This guy has made a API for JavaScript. I don't really know much about it, just saw it there on digg and thought people here might find it of interest.

jquery has been around for a while. Not sure what the difference is between this and that though. Frameworks are nice from what I have had the pleasure of working with.

Actually...this looks a bit more than just the JQuery stuff. Maybe some of you JS experts can chime in on it.

I can't wait to being able to work with Django.

This has nothing to do with jquery, it's most of processing ported from java to javascript. John Resig is the author of both, a pretty bright guy.

ninmonkeys: Unless specified, I'd think not, but ask in 20 Liners - June 08 - Zoom. Allowing JS libraries/frameworks can certainly lower the barrier to entry and increase the number of entries, which in my book is a cool thing.

Processing has caught my eye and it's pretty exciting.
