WARNING! This movie contains graphic photographic materials including starved bodies of people being pushed into mass graves by bulldozers, dead bodied falling out of the cattle wagons meant for deportation etc.

So watch it if you can. May look like a conspiracy movie but believe me it's not. Having had relatives and family friends deported and murdered I know it's not.
This movie provides some insight into the background of the modern conflicts between russians and natives in the baltic states and elsewhere.

Isn't it just a little bit naughty linking to a torrent from possibly the world's most infamous piracy website?

This is nothing new, just widely ignored. In fact, it has been widely ignored in several countries where political affiliations and complexities make it advantageous for our respective governments to turn a blind eye. The Russians have been at it for years, and they are certainly not alone.

It is a tragic thing, when a government or group systematically purges others.

It is even more tragic, when others who know about it happening, turn a blind eye to it.

As WH said, there are other lands that have done it, are doing it (North Korea, for example, I posted about it awhile ago here), and there will probably be lands and groups in the future who will do it.

Things like this make me question how anyone can have faith in humanity. We are a wretched species on so many levels

And I agree this is an old story that will most likely repeat itself.

The reason that one can have faith in humanity, Bugs, is because for the depravities, there are also extraordinary efforts.

One needs to accept humanity, for all that it is, and not just the parts that one likes.

For those that do horrible things, there are those who do wonderful ones.

I have faith in humanity, but I try not to expect the worst in people anyway.
