Do you know of a fix for this image corruption? At no zoom ( 100%) all images are slightly larger than they are supposed to be, and they all have jaggie-artifacts. Even at the menu options->about the IE logo there is scaled/distorted/artifacted too.

Your screen shot wouldn't load for me. I've seen similar to this before on a dell laptop, also transparent parts of pngs where black, not sure if we found a fix.

This is a dell laptop. The weird thing is it didn't used to do this. I think a windows patch broke it.

It would be great help if you could post it elsewhere, here maybe: http://www.filedropper.com/ never actually used it before.

If firefox is fine, this sounds exactly like a guy in works problem, I'll ask him how he ever fixed it.

Couldn't find a default zoom ratio setting in IE8. I thought that could be it or someone unticked the checkbox "Reset Zoom level to 100% for new windows and tabs" in Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Accessibility ?

Finally got it fixed! I did tools -> internet options -> advanced -> [button that resets *everything* ]

( I checked before reset, that option was on. Must have been something abnormal. )
