Basically they have licences with all the major record labels to stream their music through their software, the catalogue is huge and the quality is very good, if you wish you can download the full track to your hard drive, but otherwise you can just listen away!
I've sent you both emails through the Asylum cell, if you don't receive anything then you'll need to get in touch with me with your email address so I can pass on the invitation.
I'm also interested in an invite if there is any leftovers by someone
if so, go with dmsproject at gmail dot com
Thanx
Btw, Ya'll have a superb 2009 ya hear!

D*mn it's blistering fast!
Too bad a lot of good/big bands has opted out from services like this.
Just spent 10 minutes on it but really good impression so far.

Even if I enter invitation token it still says that is not avail in my country (belgium currently).
I wonder if someone in the US can activate my invitation for me, if I cannot login still after activation, I would give my account to someone else who wants it.
I would pay 10eur and try it for a month, but then I would like to try it for a day for free first and see if I like it / has a big collection of music (not just famous records) and such.
I now have some invitations for Spotify if any (apparently European) Asylumite would like to try.
I have been really enjoying this new venture. I listen through Spotify and last.fm about equal measure now.
Only sinserly applications innit
quote:"While we would like to provide the same service for users of all countries," said Last.fm's Owen, "the world is a huge place and it's not cheap to deliver music over the Internet."
I still see that it's still free in UK, US and Germany, for now.
