A seldom discussed topic, computer games, but every so often an inmate creeps out of the woodwork with a game related thred, so I know there will be few out there that will appreciate this, perhaps it will bring some nostalgia to others.

But how many of the games have you played? Can you name them all?

I wouldn't even try. Needless to say, if you haven't done precisely what is demonstrated at 01:28, then you really aren't a gamer... or you're just too pansy to lock even a virtual butler in the cold room..! I love it, even though I normally loathe HipHop!

After a bit of reflection, I do believe the first video game I ever played was Pong. Not the one with the knobs, but the one with the wired controls and a lever. It cost my cousins a fair bit of money - high class society they was. They even had a BetaMax, ohhh....

The first coin-op I played was a cocktail table football game. Little dots for players and a giant ball to make them run.

The first game I played on a big TRS-80 was Turtle Trot.

The first game I played on a C-64 was a type-in BASIC flight simulator from a magazine. One line for the horizon, altometer, and speedometer.

The first game I played on an Amiga 500 was Chessmaster. The first game I played on an Amiga 2000 was F-16 Tomcat...? Well, it was F-16 something or other. Now that was a flight simulator.

Am I dating myself again?

I remember that Pong game!

Black and White, with that really swammy lever.

Wow, that goes back.

I must amend my previous statement - in fact, Pong (a weird fleshy/biege box with two twiddly-knob wired controllers, no audio, RF connections) was my first home console - how could I ever have forgotten?! Now I feel old. o.o

I had one of those too! Actually, two of those one was only able t output black and white, and the other had colour. It came with other games such as Ice Hockey and clay pidgeon shooting, which was awesome, and very hard! (or was when I was knee high to a grasshopper)
