Topic: Anyone recommend a good webhost (Page 1 of 1)

For like shared hosting - I have a few options but would like some recommendations on what shared host to go for - must be cheap, have Php MySQL, - space and bandwidth should be reasonable - I would like one where I can host addon domains as well - plus a host which can handle loads of concurrent connections.

Dreamhost has a decent record... they had a major outage a couple of years back, but the best and openest communication I've ever seen in a hosting provider.
And the asylum seems to run happily at the moment.

I use OCS Solutions, I find them cheap and reliable, and they support plenty of technologies, their added su0pport for git came through very fast.

I've been using serveit.org for years. I can highly recommend it.

I'm a recent convert to Dreamhost, and so far so good. I got mine for a whopping $4.44/month for 4 years (one of their specials that ran over Presidents Day weekend). I've seen a few recent promos there to get a good discount on hosting, just have to check back every now and then.
