@TP: Yes and there are a few small holes in the outer concrete panels so any moisture has a way out and to provide some ventilation. Ventilation is key to dealing with moisture. We have some pretty cold winters around here so houses are built to be pretty airtight to keep the cold air out. When people renovate older buildings they usually lose any natural ventilation they used to have so mold sets in eventually if they forgot to think about ventilation. Our house is brand new though so we have forced and heated ventilation with energy recovery for that. The heated part is mostly there to prevent frost on the ducts and it's electric so we keep it at the minimal setting.
