A search engine

Another Suggestion ripped out of the mess above. This one was made by InI:

A small search engine, I left notes about that to Emperor (a select ... like ... type of engine, for example).
It is starting to be a pain in the ass to browse this Faq.

And there was also a reply from Emperor:

Hmmm... I'm assuming that the search engine will have more options added to it as a later date yes?

It's a little hard to find the link though. There's plenty of spce at the top of the page for links like that. Right next to the Asylum FAQ banner.

Throw in your ideas for features (good job on keeping things clean here Dracusis). Some thoughts:

1. DDM (drop down menu) allowing you to restrict the results by time: last hour, last 12 hours, last 24 hours, last 2 days, last week, last month, etc.

2. Only search in certain areas (tutorials, FAQs)

(Tyberius Prime: Part a would be easy... but part b is kind of giving me the heebies... although we could work something out like 'search only below this node' drop down kind of thingy... I'll think of it)

Yes, do so, and later on, we'll implement a better search... this one was a quick hack.
Requests for layout changes should get a seperate subtopic, I think so that we can vote on them... Btw, later on, features that will have been implemented will have their topics moved to a different node, in order to keep this clean. --Tyberius Prime
