What are the inmates' opinions on the wondrous beverage that is beer?

At Indus' suggestion, I have decided to carve out a little section of the FAQ and devote it to beer. Everyone please feel free to add your thoughts on this wondrous gift to mankind. I'll kick it off with a limerick I wrote when I was in Dublin...
