Topic awaiting preservation: Right out of a movie... (Page 1 of 1)

Has anyone heard this story? A man was found dead with a slit down his chest missing his heart and liver and a few other internal organs? I'm trying to find a link but I can't seem to grasp one. If anyone can find a link, it would be greatly appriciated if you posted it.

Is this the work of a modern day Jack the Ripper? Or is this some kind of scheme made to scare millions of people? Authorities say that they don't know whether the man was murdered or not, and if it was a murder, they aren't entirely sure if the murderer was the same person who stole his organs.

InSiDeR: Although no consulation to the victim such an eviscerating sounds pretty 'basic'/vanilla - in fact films, TV, books, etc. would probably go for something 'fancier' with lots of little peculiarities which would allow them to profile the killer.

I doubt it is anything to do with any kind of organ trade unless there are more details to the story - it is largely an urban myth - esp. when people in the Third World already have been known sell a kidney for very little.

Skaarjj - jack the ripper did a wole lot more than slit throats...he did some pretty sick stuff. Including removal of some things in some cases.
