Just to share:

- I got a summer job doing web development stuff (javascript, css, etc), and i can work from home so not having a car isn't an issue!
- I got a single dorm room next year! finally!
- I got into the Warcraft 3 Expansion Beta! Weeeeha! This explains my lack of appearance lately.
- I think there's more but I don't remember!

So now you know why I haven't been around much (if you noticed).

=D

Forget about the job, the War3 beta was the best thing on that list.

Congrats with everything!

I agree with WarMage, getting into the war3 beta is the best thing on that list...

No, no, no, I must disagree. The single dorm room was the best thing on that list. I lived in the campus apartments for my third and fourth years at university, but for the second semester of my third year I went to London. When I came back, I discovered that one of the guys I lived with, whom I had entrusted with my housing papers, had screwed things up and I got stuck in a double room in another apartment. My roommate was this huge German guy who had to stoop to get through the door. He took up half the room just standing with his arms folded across his chest. He also had his girlfriend over all the time, and I ended up spending most of my nights on the couch in my old apartment.

The guy who took my old room was this incredibly well-muscled and good looking black guy named Sean. I would have hated him, but he was such a nice guy that he made it really difficult. He was also very popular with the ladies, and to this day we believe he had them stashed around the apartment where we couldn't find them. He would wake up some days, walk into the shower, and come back out twenty minutes later with a girl. He must have had magical powers or something.

Anyway, sleeping on the couch wasn't the greatest, given that it wasn't all that soft, and Sean had a habit of, shall we say, devoting his full attention to his ladies for most of the night. It was still better than going back to my double room, though.

Then again, I suppose it also might have had something to do with the fact that my ex-girlfriend was going out with the guy in the next room. Yeah, that was one messed up year. That was when I listened to Nine Inch Nails, by the way.

OK, that was therapeutic. Sometimes I get to missing the "good old days" at university, and it's helpful to remember just how screwed up those good old days were sometimes.

Um, that was a bit too much information, wasn't it...

Ah, well, congrats Slime. It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Well done Slime - have fun.
