Anyone else getting spam related to the war? Or seen any tasteless war-related advertising?

I got an email today saying 'Whats the difference between cable and Saddam' (the answer appears to be not wanting to pull the plug on cable).

And I also received a number of others offering patriotic merchandise.

The answer for the people that suffer from spam : get The Bat . It's the most complete and powerful e-mail client I have ever tried. I won't talk about the infinite abilities of this program, there are way too much. The most useful in your case is the mail sorting out : just create a folder named "spam", and then you can sort every incoming mail with a lot of parameters (for example : do not belong to your contacts) to send them automatically in this folder (and then just specify to delete everything in it when closing). Since I got this program, I never received an unwanted mail in my normal mails

yeah, i also used the bat for a while
unfortunately, the bat is not freeware

at the moment i am using mozilla's e mail client, and i am also very happy with it.
i don't miss any features from the bat. i think the bat hasn't got much more.
you can adjust these parametres too and so on....and so on.

oh and emps, i received the same e mail yesterday!

grumble said that this is a good working spam blocker.

Wow... I thought the other stuff was tasteless and/or bizarre, but I just got spam advertising footage of American soldiers raping Iraqi women. The banner: "Iraqi Whores." It's all faked, of course -- you develop an eye for bullshit -- but Christ on a pogo stick, people! How low can you stoop?

I'm thinking it'll be at least four showers before I feel clean again.
