Hi, everybody. How are you? I am very well, thanks very much.
Well, my host mother has been having a problem receiving email through Outlook Express.
She cannot receive new messages. It often doesn't work for a couple of days. When it seems to work, jsut receiving old emails. When I click Send/Recieve button, it seems to work but not recieve more than 5 emails.
We just updated virus checker. I am crossing fingure it is not because of virus. Do you have any idea?
Also this message often pops up.

you have two choices:

1) The mailserver from the provider is going down a lot. Have contact with the isp or check the website.
Most isp's have a troubleshoot section wher they post anouncements about their servers.

2) Configuration is wrong in Outlook Express. Again check with the isp how exactly outlook-express should be configured and make it so.

Cheers, mate.
I am seeing ISP web site but nothing said about it.
So I will tell her to check second option.
Many thanks.
Cya.

http://www.windowsupdate.com/ and make sure you've got all the fixes (probably not the problem here, but it doesn't hurt).

If all else fails, delete the email account in OE and recreate it.
