i don't know why they were nekkid.... but *i* don't see it as being a problem. as long as they can fly the plane, i don't care what they're wearing...or not wearing

One of the men reportedly claims that he removed his uniform because coffee was spilled on it, and that a flight attendant bringing paper towels and soda water to the cockpit was a witness.

Well, as long as that's all the flight attendant was doing, I don't really have too much of a problem with it...

I really do not care what they were wearing either... the only problem that I would have is if they were cute or not. Then again, it just goes to show that 'sex sells'.

Captain Oveur: You ever been in a cockpit before?

Joey: No sir, I've never been up in a plane before.

Captain Oveur: You ever seen a grown man naked?

Actually the word cockpit comes from jus that... Cock-Pit. It has something to do with the very macho guys who were the first pilots at the begining off the last century.

Rinswind: I don't think so... sounds way too "urban legendish" for me. I did some Googling around and came up with one attempted explanation, but they admit that it is not conclusive. At any rate, the original use of the word was to describe the area where cock fights were held, and the earliest recorded use is in Shakespeare.

Yes, Shakespeare was notorious for his relentless cockfight wagering.
