I have a similar question....I have a Sony ES50 video camera (analog) and an ATI All-In-Wonder TV viedo tuner card with AV IN/AV OUT ports and I too would like to use my camera as a web cam but don't know exactly how to configure everything????

There's a program called ACDSee that allows you to do that with certain cameras. Check their webpage:
http://www.acdsystems.com/English/index.htm

I'd also try a bit of Googling or checking sites like CNet downloads.

Not sure how other cameras do it. Mine has a setting within the camera for Vidio mode which you set up "Before switching the computer on".
Suggest, looking for the user manual on the net?

ACDsee is great for viewing pictures also. By using the scroller on the mouse it will go through the entire folder, showing every picture one by one.
