When I was talking about Nerd Hell:

I seem to have overlooked this one

It appears that a Klingon interpreter was being sought:

It drew so many sarcastic reports that they have withdrawn the offer:

Soooooooo anyone speak Klingon around these parts?

I started learning it a while back from a recorded 'Learn Klingon fro Michael Dorn' tape set but I never could get past the basic phonics of it.

"Repeat after me - Kuh! Kuh!... GOOD!"

"Repeat after me - Dur! Dur!... GOOD!"

I was always laughing too hard.

How funny - my dad called me about a week ago on that one... He's retired now, but still contracts to do German translations, and was scoping for translator jobs on the web... I had a chuckle when I remembered that my brother-in-law was a Klingon at the Star Trek exhibit at Carowinds for a couple of summers. Of necessity - he had to learn Klingon... and could possibly be a candidate for the job if he was interested... heh heh...

Neither Clan nor Personal honor will permit me to have a job that requires the changing of true Klingon words into lesser words.
