OK all the entries are in. You can see them here:
http://development.gurusnetwork.com/discussion/thread/2070/

You can vote for the other entries other than the Asylum (i.e. The GN, The Bored and PSD.it).

[edit3: OK to clarify:

you can't vote for the Asylum in the Asylum

You can vote for The GN, The Bored and PSD.it

hope that solves any problems]

So get voting!!

[edit: And you can only vote once - so members of multiple boards have to decide where they want to vote]

[edit2: You can view all the voting threads here:

Well OK I'll start this off then shall I?

1. GN

2. Bored

3. PSD.it

Thoughts: The GN really comes out well ahead - great concept, great execution and a nifty wallpaper. I liked the Asylum entry as well although it didn't really work for me as a wallpaper (things were awful rushed and so many people kept dropping out so I'd love to see what you guys could come up with if given a better run at the game). Having watched the development of the Bored's entry this mystifies me as I have no idea where it came from. It works as a wallpaper but the concept is a little odd (I don't understand the man in the mug and although drugs might fulfill the rather broad title I think there were better subjects - like the evolution one that they were working on). The PSD.it entry is a bit of a disappointment after their excellent entry last time this seems a little patchy good concept but poorly executed and not a good wallpaper.

The GN submission, in my opinion, is superior in both idea and execution. It was a hands-down first place pick for me, no question about it. The PSD entry was nice, but it didn't strike me like the GN entry did. Still, nice execution. The Bored entry completely mystified me, to be honest with (and, for what it's worth, so did the Asylum entry). A lot of effort was obviously put into this all around--great work, everyone.

My absolute sincerest apologies to Hugh and to the Asylum.
I bit off more than I could chew and didn't realize it until it was too late. My bad.
I'm so sorry, folks.

I may be uneducated or something, but I don't recognise either the imagery or the "quotation" in the Bored's submission at all. I think I'd have liked to be involved in the Asylum entry at the design stage rather than the last 4 days, but I did enjoy what bit I did to help ... Well done the others too.

Trib: yea woulda been better alright, its a pity it became kinda of a hurried mash, and only two people. tbh I was ready to dump it once Amerasu had to leave it.

We'll be better prepared for IBC3, hopefully the next entrants will have learnt from the mistakes.

Each team provided a really good work. Clearly, the styles were quite different. I like very much paintings (still can't figure how you guys do that lol), but the 'real' pictures from the GN submission were niftier.

Edit : spelling.

The Gurus entry is very slick. Good solid concept, very well executed.

The Bored entry was a very close second. Good concept, but it looks rushed.
I like the PSD entry too, although it appears rushed, too. And..ummm I don`t get it.

Maybe 3 weeks isn`t enough. (or maybe 1 week is)

you know, I'm not one to talk, since I probably couldn't do much better, but I expected a lot more from these boards.. I have seen much more phenomenal work in each of these forums on a daily basis, and even though I consider GN's the best, it's not by very much...

... I dunno, I must have been a little high with my expectations..

If you got the worlds greatest painters to paint one image all on the same canvas do you really think it'll look any good?

Solid team work is what really makes or breakes this kind of thing, the individual talent of the atrists doesn't count for shit if they can't work well toghter.
