Does anyone know how much one of these would go for?

If you are talking about an old one, I guess it would depend mainly on age and condition. You'll have to try to find someone that deals in antiques, or perhaps a local museum?

Some of the folks listed here might be able to help price and old one:

A modern lantern usually go for around $20 ($15 - $30).

My dad found one in our house somewhere, it belonged to my moms dad. It's from the 1850's if I understand.

Asper, Phantasmagoria and the rise of the Showmen. Sounds ghastly.

Insider, I recommend taking some photos. A few general photos, and any relevant details. Then posting them in the forums in the above link.
