Hello. Sorry. This is my first post here, but I'm seen as a regular at many other design forums so don't mistake my postcount for inexperience. The reason why I came here is because I want to get a lot of far out, creative designs on my latest contest.

There is a store; it is called NYFlava Fashions. They're looking for a fresh, up-beat, and wild design for their web site. Nothing too professional, just something you could do in your spare time.
The website will consist of a splash page and a second page to detail the store and the store owner. To win the contest, you need only do 1 page, whichever you feel would look best for your entry. Then the design will later be modified to fit the other page.
Pictures of the store and some of its clothes will be taken and put up on the website.

The contest is being hosted here: http://www.biznitz.com/contests.php?atn=d&c=1

Above is the URL to sign up and submit your entries. Also, the URL can be checked for updates.
The deadline is August 2nd, but may be pushed further back to allow for more time.
This contest is open to anybody, regardless of skill or experience.
There is a cash prize of $80-100 which you can receive through money order or PayPal. Payment can be sent to U.S. or Canada.
Hope to see fresh entries; good luck.

Pants.

I'd love to enter there, Isaac, but sadly, my eyesight isn't what it used to be. Can't seem to put my finger on just why ...

Wes: That'll be all the vigorous masturbation

I did enjoy this:

quote:
Prize: $40-60 $80-100 cash, money order, or online payment through PayPal, will send to US or Canada.

so is it only open to North Americans?

"NYFlava Fashions", does bring to mind some realy evil ideas.

But I have to say, I realy hate to see this kind of thing.

If you or the client are only only willing to pay $80-100 for the design concept say so, I am sure someone would be willing, perhap even for free even as portfolio piece.

Just for info. The Graphic Artist Guild Ethical Priceing & Guidlines book lists a Spash Page design at $1000-S2000 for general intrest / business intrests for small company/limited distrubution, of course this would change for each client and market. I would think $100 is just a little low for a concept that will drive an entire sites appearance.
