It's not that big deal but, after years using IE, I am starting to like Mozilla more, and starting to use it as my main browser. Back in 1995, when I started having access to the Internet (in Brazil), Netscape Navigator was the best, I loved it. Then, came IE and after some time I changed to IE.
But you know, IE is full of certain behaviors that you can't control and it decides for you what to do and I am sick of it. Besides, I like the multi-tab feature of Mozilla.
So from now on, until MS comes with a better version of IE, I am a Mozilla fan.
Isn't it interesting?

Way to go - be sure to check out the Mouse Gestures, get a nice Theme and you'll never look back.

Just out of curiousity... have you considered Mozilla Firebird?

yeah, viol.... I did almost exactly the same thing... been on Moz for about a year and a half by now....

...and kuckus- it's so rare to see you so far off the mark...

...the greatest all time theme for Moz is Skypilot...

Interestingly I just heard of this "special version" of Mozilla yesterday, when I was visiting the Mozilla site. I quickly read a page about its features, but I didn't pay too much attention to it (after all Mozilla already has that nice no-pop up feature and the multi-tab). I'll give it an extra thought, now that you mentioned. Is it as stable as Mozilla itself?

Firebird is even more stable (so is been said) since it's a light version from moz.
It's simpler and is an browser only, no mail, no html editor, browser only. I am not shure about the tabs though.
But it uses few resources... So very good when you run alot of programs at the same time.

Rinswind is right. Firebird is, in fact, targeted towards transitioning IE6 users, and is faster and lighter than Mozilla. I never use the extra bloatware Mozilla comes with anyways, so FB is just right for me. And if you need a mail app, there's always Thunderbird.

Me neither. I use Outlook Express
This firebird version seems perfect for me as well. I'll install it!
Thanks for the nice tip.

<EDIT> Just downloaded it and it seems it has no installation process, just unzip and start using it. Why can't all other programs be just like this? </EDIT>

Enjoy it while you still can. Once the final 1.0 comes along, they'll need a neat-and-tidy installation package, to market to the mainstream (read: non-geeks).
