I read these boards a lot and I figured I would post a question due to the technical expertise of alot of the members here... anyway, 2 questions:

(Sorry if this is not the proper forum for these questions)

1. Is there anyway I can actually see code (html, etc) rendered in a broswer for a mac.... on a PC? I need to be able to see the rendered code in a PC enviroment. (I cannot afford a mac to do testing)

2. Also.. what issues do i-frames pose on a mac browser (basic IE mac broser that gets shipped with the machine) I understand that there might be somewhat of a problem, but I am not exactly sure.

If you have any bookmarked links that would help me answer the above questions would be awesome. In the meantime I'll continue to google about the globe in hopes of stumbling across the answers.

Thanks.

I doubt there may be a way to see the way the code gets interpreted in mac browsers on a pc, maybe running some sort of emulator could do that.

Related to issues on mac browsers, you may want to check this: http://www.quirksmode.org/browsers/contents.html

welcome to the Asylum a_random_human .

If you would like to see how your pages are "rendered" or what they would look like in a Mac browser, you could always post a link to it in the "Site Reviews" section with subject like "Need Mac Testing".

There are a number of mates here that use Mac's that may be able to lend a hand.

Hope that helps.

Another useful service is BrowserCam, which will take screenshots of your site in several browsers that span all platforms. It's a pay service, but you can sign up for an 8-hour free trial, and see if it's worth it

ahh cool.. thanks a ton.

We just talked our boss into buying a mac specificly for testing.. complete with a wireless network, so we can pass the thing around the office for testing purposes.
