Heartfelt congratulations Suho, I am so pleased for you. I know you must still be busy so don't "forget" to take time out for yourself to let it sink in. You saw the target, set your sights, cleared your mind and focused. Now you have achieved that goal, nothing can take that away from you. Way to make memories dude!
I've read the journal entry now I'm going back to read your AWARD winning translation of Dr. Jeon Sang-guk?s ?Planaria?.
TV program or not, your a star in my book my friend.

Thanks guys. I can't believe this got posted so quickly--I actually wasn't expecting anyone to notice (I guess I can be pretty dense like that sometimes).

I'm a bit self-conscious about the translation, to be honest. Of course I'm proud of it, but I'm afraid that I might have failed to achieve what I was aiming for. I just hope people can enjoy it for the fine work of literature that it (the original) is--that's my true goal.

Thank you all for your congratulations. I hope you enjoy the story.

Oh, yes, and I definitely think this calls for a party in my cell. I think I've got a keg or two of Guinness stashed away in the basement somewhere...

well, I enjoyed reading it!

It was strange, but well readable (now, if I could only say that about them science books I gotta read... and they're not even translated).
Quite strange.

What a great story! It was thoroughly entrancing. Not being able to read it in it's original language, I have to say you must have come quite close to an "ideal" translation. The words fit the story quite well - if that makes any sense.

Many congratulations for the achievement of your goals so far, and best wishes for the achievement of those you set in the future!
