Topic awaiting preservation: Tutorial (Page 1 of 1)

I am new to photoshop. In http://www.handson.nu/ there is link to this page called: "FURUM". I would very much like to make such a frame with the text appearing like the one here. Is there any tutorial on such.

Welcome to the asylum Mojtala.

I'm gonna take a stab at this. There really wouldn't be a tut on making just this but there are tuts on some of the things that Doc did to get it.

One would be the outlining box. This uses lighting effect (found under : filters > render > lighting effects)
Check this out for that.

There is a link on Handson for the little inset line that you see at the bottom.

As for the text, I think it pretty much uses the same method as the box above. Just have to color it
