Topic awaiting preservation: public domain PC pictures (Page 1 of 1)

errr., This may not be the appropriate place but, what are rules for anyway if they're never tested, right?

Where was I? OK ... Yeah, Anyone know where I can find some Photo Images of PC's, Mice, Generic Parts, etc..

I know I can just nick 'em from a google image search, but I would prefer something that doesnt need nicking and can just be used on another site without the person responsible for their upload and maintenance being offended if someone used their work.

Anyone???

I am... I hesitate to mention this.... wanting to use little thumbnails to link to a pop-up window to offer the surfer more info. I just glanced over the pop-up thread. and shudder when typing that I am a pop-up perpertrator. So.., in my perp'ish ways I want to pop an image with descriptive text into a 400 X 400 window with no toolbars, no scroll, and no resize options.

You will view my wares or suffer the consequences..., muhahahahaha..., oops. Wait, what I mean is...

For instance ;

thumbnail = pc upgrade book that is linked to a larger image

larger image = displays in the aforementioned 400 X 400 window with text and info and etc.
