I know NS doesn't support much CSS in form elements, but what I'm trying to do is merely aesthetic, and I doubt anyone with NS will be using it anyway, so this question mostly applies to IE 5-6.

I want to squish my select menu down to the minimum height so more rows can fit on a screen at once. I think I have had luck in Mac IE 5 with font-size and height attributes, but i was wondering if anyone has any cool tips about this or better yet a link that discusses form element CSS in-depth.

jiblet: I could be wrong but I suspect you'll rapidly start running into limitattions just using styles. Its not something I'd usually recommend but to really take control you could try generating the select box yourself see e.g.:

Just a thought.
