What's the best way to have mouseover effects that have to do with generating text in other areas that can take up many lines. Kind of like at here

I thought this had just been dealt with recently - try looking through the last few weeks worth of posts or grab that page you link to and have a nose through the source.

[urm.. - I'm kind of confused - you are asking you to achieve an effect you have on your own page have I missed something? Anyway the first piece of advice stands try one of InI's recent threads I think]

I'm not sure there is a "best way" because it really depends on what you're trying to achieve on any one page.

Sometimes the best way is to use the innerHTML method to write the text into a div. However, this is not supported in Opera so if you know some of your audience uses that browser, you would not want to use that method.

An alternate method would be to have all your text already written on several different divs and then you could just show the one you want and hide all the rest depending on which button was moused over.
