Yah, I know this isn't a CSS forum but where else do I put my question?

Just attempted CSS validation on my SS and was surprised:

quote:
URI : http://www.allewyn.f2s.com/newcharmed.css
Line: 2 Context : body
Property scrollbar-3d-light-color doesn't exist : #000000

Line: 3 Context : body
Property scrollbar-arrow-color doesn't exist : #e79c4a

Line: 4 Context : body
Property scrollbar-base-color doesn't exist : #e79c4a

Line: 5 Context : body
Property scrollbar-dark-shadow-color doesn't exist : #e79c4a

Line: 6 Context : body
Property scrollbar-face-color doesn't exist : #430404

Line: 7 Context : body
Property scrollbar-highlight-color doesn't exist : #430404

Line: 8 Context : body
Property scrollbar-shadow-color doesn't exist : #e79c4a

Line: 277 Context : #divTooltip
Property layer-background-color doesn't exist : #f3f3f3

Line: 278 Context : .normalStyle
Property layer-background-color doesn't exist : #f3f3f3

Line: 279 Context : .netscape4Style
Property layer-background-color doesn't exist : #f3f3f3

Apparently we use a lot of CSS parameters that don't exist!

i think the css validation is very strict. it only accepts properties that are defined in the w3c standards. and i think, that scrollbar stuff is IE specific only. but i could be wrong...

That's right... scrollbar color changes are IE only (and usually unecessary in my opinion). I've never seen anything like layer-background-color before.

Slime, layer-background-color property is used in NN4 only...
