Hello...

Can javascript serialize object reference? so that I can store a serialized version in Cookies and then deserialize it back again?

Thanks.

We have done so.

obj =window.open('myfile.htm');

how do i serialize obj ?

so that I can later do: obj.close();

1)i have a the main page
2)it opens a popup window
3)the main page will serialize and store the obj of that popup in a cookie
4)user closes main page only
5)user reopens main page
6)main page deserialize and reconstructs the obj to the popup window
7)main page will do obj.close() the popup!

is that possible?!
