I've got my ( form ) elements to become invisible when certain options are selected.

The only problem is that while those elements are invisible. They still take up physical space in my web page.

How can I make the form items invisible AND collapse the space that they are taking up so it looks like nothing is there?
Then when the user selects an certain option the space opens up and the new items are displayed.

Not sure which example you wanted to show me ( confused ).

I need to physically collapse the layers as well as hide them.
