OK, Iv done a raytracer, a raycaster (sort of) and 2 polygon renderers. Are there any other methods worth trying in javascript?

Well, you could play a little with SVG or have a look at some volume rendering techniques ( used in medical imagery ) like raysplatting. Otherwise, try to find different approaches to do what you've already done or, asInI suggested, switch to another language.
